Apparently I missed all the Jackie Evancho fuss (I guess as an Australian who doesn’t watch reality TV that wasn’t hard to miss) but when this CD was put on at work today I nearly took it off because I couldn’t stand yet another child star singing sugar sweet songs. I didn’t realise until mid-CD that this TEN YEAR OLD girl was singing. Sure there’s issues involved with her being too young and yes, her voice isn’t always absolutely spot on … but I’m still incredibly impressed!
