These aren’t parody posters? Oh … wow. Especially Animal Practice and Guys with Kids - they looks like “TV shows” that would be comedically advertised on 30 Rock.

I’ll probably start watching Go On for Matthew Perry and Laura Benanti. The trailer makes it look like a film (a watchable, but not outstanding, comedy) or perhaps it’ll turn out a bit like Community where the self-help group is just a framework to set up a group of interrelated people that get into all sorts of wild adventures.

The New Normal might start out alright, but then drop off. I’m not the greatest fan of the way Ryan Murphy handles TV shows (ahem Glee) but that doesn’t mean I’ll discount it (and I haven’t seen American Horror Story, which people seem to like). I like Justin Bartha and Andrew Rannells, plus Georgia King is actually a very good actress (I’m surprised to see her in a sitcom). I’ll give this one a go too. I just hope it doesn’t get too soapbox-y.

The rest I don’t think I’ll bother with from the trailers and snippets that I’ve seen. Maybe I’ll tune in for a couple of episodes of Next Caller in case it becomes the replacement for a 30 Rock style comedy. I doubt it. Nothing can replace 30 Rock

…. and the monkey from Animal Practice is pretty cute. Yet I don’t think even Justin Kirk and a cute monkey could get me to watch it. Maybe I’ll be proven wrong.
