This announcement is so not October 19th. 

This appearing on my twitter feed made Monday 10x better. Although I’m always jealous when I see that cool celebrities are hanging out with other cool celebrities. And it also makes me want some sort of epic fantasy sci-fi sitcom featuring the three of them.

Don’t hate on a nigga but am I the only one that has got slightly bored of Community? I wouldn’t dare speak against it on Twitter in fear of the Community bandwagon rejecting me from their exclusive club but I dunno. It doesn’t seem what it once was.

I have JUST finished the latest episode and I do agree. It’s not what it used to be, and it’s trying harder and harder to get back to that level. I was so disappointed with this week’s episode - I maybe laughed once. I still enjoy it as a 20 minute break from my day, but the exceptional quality of the show that led to me being hooked in the first place just isn’t there. 

As for the Community fans that populate the internet, I believe they have the same qualms about the show. Everyone is hoping it will get back on its feet, but the ideal “six seasons and a movie” isn’t looking so likely/worthwhile. 

I understand 30 Rock finishing next season. In fact, Season 6 was going to be the end so I’m grateful for the extra 13 episodes. It’s still going to hurt to see it go. 

Community has been in trouble, so again a 13 episode season is better than it being cancelled. Perhaps it’s a test season, to let it get back on track before they make a bigger commitment. I can only hope because I do still love it. 

… but Parks and Recreation? I finally get around to seeing it, love it (as I knew I would) and now it’s rumoured to also end with a 13 episode Season 4. My heart!

What is happening NBC? Do you have some awesome new line-up due for 2014? It better be truly amazing.

I hope this happens. First episode is being filmed in New York - perhaps there can be a NBC reference in there somewhere!
