Florence Welch, Michael Fassbender, Ryan Gosling, and Rooney Mara filming the untitled Terrence Malick film at ACL 2012

I am so in the dark (like everyone) on what this film actually is, but I certainly want to see it.

Don’t forget it also stars Christian Bale and Cate Blanchett! It’s almost my favourite film without knowing anything about it.

(Also Fassbender does not want Argentina to cry for him in the final shot. That is all.)

Rooney Mara

I wish we could all get along like we used to in middle school. I wish that I could bake a cake made out of rainbows and smiles and and we’d all eat and be happy.

I saw My Week With Marilyn last night and was pleasantly surprised with Michelle William’s performance as Marilyn Monroe. While I’m sure Meryl Streep will still win the Oscar, William’s definitely is some worthy competition (as well as Rooney Mara in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo)

I wasn’t sure about seeing David Fincher’s adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I still haven’t read the books and really wanted to see the original Swedish films first. However with some last minute plans I ended up catching it tonight and it was fantastic. I should never doubt David Fincher, and the cast is excellent (Rooney Mara was almost unrecognisable, but brilliant). I thoroughly enjoyed it, but don’t know if I would have if I read the books/saw the other films.
